முதல் வாசகம்

நாங்கள் கடவுளின் உடன் உழைப்பாளர்கள். நீங்கள் கடவுள் பண்படுத்தும் தோட்டம்.

திருத்தூதர் பவுல் கொரிந்தியருக்கு எழுதிய முதல் திருமுகத்திலிருந்து வாசகம் 3: 1-9

சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளே,

ஆவிக்குரியவர்களிடம் பேசுவதுபோல நான் உங்களிடம் பேச முடியவில்லை. மாறாக, நீங்கள் ஊனியல்பு கொண்டவர்கள் எனவும், கிறிஸ்துவோடுள்ள உறவில் குழந்தைகள் எனவும் எண்ணிப் பேசுகிறேன். நான் உங்களுக்குத் திட உணவை அல்ல, பாலையே ஊட்டினேன். ஏனெனில், திட உணவை உங்களால் உண்ண முடியவில்லை. இப்போதும் அதே நிலையில்தான் இருக்கிறீர்கள். நீங்கள் இன்னும் உங்கள் ஊனியல்புக்கேற்பவே நடக்கிறீர்கள். ஏனெனில், பொறாமையும், சண்டை சச்சரவும் உங்களிடையே உள்ளன. நீங்கள் ஊனியல்புக்கேற்ப நடந்து மனிதப் போக்கில்தானே வாழ்கிறீர்கள்?

ஏனெனில், ஒருவர் ‘நான் பவுலைச் சார்ந்துள்ளேன்’ என்றும் வேறொருவர் ‘நான் அப்பொல்லோவைச் சார்ந்துள்ளேன்’ என்றும் உங்களிடையே சொல்லிக் கொள்ளும்போது நீங்கள் மனிதப் போக்கில்தானே நடக்கிறீர்கள்? அப்பொல்லோ யார்? பவுல் யார்? நீங்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளக் காரணமாயிருந்த பணியாளர்கள்தானே! ஆண்டவர் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் அருளியவாறு அவர்கள் தொண்டு ஆற்றுகிறார்கள். நான் நட்டேன்; அப்பொல்லோ நீர் பாய்ச்சினார்; கடவுளே விளையச் செய்தார். நடுகிறவருக்கும் பெருமை இல்லை; நீர் பாய்ச்சுபவருக்கும் பெருமை இல்லை; விளையச் செய்யும் கடவுளுக்கே பெருமை. நடுகிறவரானாலும் நீர் பாய்ச்சுகிறவரானாலும் ஒன்றுதான். தாம் செய்த வேலைக்கு ஏற்ப ஒவ்வொருவரும் தம் கூலியைப் பெறுவர். நாங்கள் கடவுளின் உடன் உழைப்பாளர்கள். நீங்கள் கடவுள் பண்படுத்தும் தோட்டம். நீங்கள் அவர் எழுப்பும் கட்டடம்.

பதிலுரைப் பாடல்

பல்லவி: ஆண்டவர் தமது உரிமைச் சொத்தாகத் தெரிந்தெடுத்த மக்கள் பேறுபெற்றோர்.

திபா 33: 12-13. 14-15. 20-21 . (பல்லவி: 12b)

12. ஆண்டவரைத் தன் கடவுளாகக் கொண்ட இனம் பேறுபெற்றது; அவர் தமது உரிமைச் சொத்தாகத் தெரிந்தெடுத்த மக்கள் பேறுபெற்றோர்.

13. வானினின்று ஆண்டவர் பார்க்கின்றார்; மானிடர் அனைவரையும் காண்கின்றார். – பல்லவி

14. தாம் வீற்றிருக்கும் இடத்திலிருந்து உலகெங்கும் வாழ்வோரைக் கூர்ந்து நோக்குகின்றார்.

15. அவர்களின் உள்ளங்களை உருவாக்குகின்றவர் அவரே! அவர்களின் செயல்கள் அனைத்தையும் உற்று நோக்குபவரும் அவரே! – பல்லவி

20. நாம் ஆண்டவரை நம்பியிருக்கின்றோம்; அவரே நமக்குத் துணையும் கேடயமும் ஆவார்.

21. நம் உள்ளம் அவரை நினைத்துக் களிகூரும்; ஏனெனில், அவரது திருப்பெயரில் நாம் நம்பிக்கை வைத்துள்ளோம். – பல்லவி

நற்செய்திக்கு முன் வாழ்த்தொலி

அல்லேலூயா, அல்லேலூயா! ஏழைகளுக்கு நற்செய்தியை அறிவிக்கவும் சிறைப்பட்டோர் விடுதலை அடைவர் என முழக்கமிடவும் ஆண்டவர் என்னை அனுப்பியுள்ளார். அல்லேலூயா.

நற்செய்தி வாசகம்

நான் மற்ற ஊர்களிலும் இறையாட்சியைப் பற்றி நற்செய்தி அறிவிக்க வேண்டும்.

✠ லூக்கா எழுதிய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 4: 38-44

அக்காலத்தில்

இயேசு தொழுகைக்கூடத்தை விட்டு, சீமோன் வீட்டிற்குள் சென்றார். சீமோனின் மாமியார் கடுங்காய்ச்சலால் துன்புற்ற நிலையில் இருந்தார். அவர்கள் அவருக்காக இயேசுவிடம் வேண்டினார்கள். இயேசு அவரருகில் நின்று, காய்ச்சலைக் கடிந்துகொள்ள, அது அவரை விட்டு நீங்கிற்று. உடனே அவர் எழுந்து அவர்களுக்குப் பணிவிடை செய்தார்.

கதிரவன் மறையும் நேரத்தில், எல்லாரும் தங்களிடையே பற்பல பிணிகளால் நலம் குன்றி இருந்தோரை அவரிடம் கூட்டி வந்தார்கள். அவர் ஒவ்வொருவர் மேலும் தம் கைகளை வைத்து அவர்களைக் குணமாக்கினார். பேய்களும், “நீர் இறைமகன்” என்று கத்திக்கொண்டே பலரிடமிருந்து வெளியேறின. அவர் மெசியா என்று பேய்கள் அறிந்திருந்தபடியால், அவர் அவற்றை அதட்டி, பேசவிடாமல் தடுத்தார்.

பொழுது விடியும் வேளையில் இயேசு தனிமையான ஓர் இடத்திற்குப் புறப்பட்டுச் சென்றார். திரளான மக்கள் அவரைத் தேடிச் சென்றனர்; அவரிடம் வந்து சேர்ந்ததும் தங்களை விட்டுப் போகாதவாறு அவரைத் தடுத்து நிறுத்தப் பார்த்தனர். அவரோ அவர்களிடம், “நான் மற்ற ஊர்களிலும் இறையாட்சியைப் பற்றி நற்செய்தி அறிவிக்க வேண்டும்; இதற்காகவே நான் அனுப்பப்பட்டிருக்கிறேன்” என்று சொன்னார். பின்பு அவர் யூதேயாவிலுள்ள தொழுகைக்கூடங்களில் நற்செய்தியைப் பறைசாற்றி வந்தார்.

இது கிறிஸ்து வழங்கும் நற்செய்தி.

“We are co-workers with God, and you are a field which God cultivates, a house which God builds”

Reading of the first letter of Saint Paul the Apostle to the Corinthians 3, 1-9

    Brothers,
when I spoke to you,
I was not able to speak to you as to spiritual
beings, but as only carnal beings,
as little children in Christ.
    It is milk that I have given you,
and not solid food;
you could not have eaten it,
and even now you cannot,
    because you are still carnal beings.
Since there are jealousies and rivalries between you,
are you not always carnal beings,
and do you not have a completely human conduct?

    When one of you says,
"I belong to Paul,"
and another,
"I belong to Apollos,"
isn't that a completely human way of acting?
    But who is Apollos? who is Paul?
Servants through whom you became believers,
and who acted according to the gifts of the Lord to each one of them.
    I planted, Apollos watered;
but it was God who gave the growth.
    So he who plants is not important,
nor he who waters;
only the one who gives growth matters: God.
    He who plants and he who waters
are one,
but each will receive his own wages .
according to the trouble he will have taken.
    We are co-workers with God,
and you are a field that God cultivates,
a house that God builds.

Happy the people whose God is the Lord,
happy the nation he has chosen for his domain!

We wait for our life from the Lord:
he is for us a support, a shield.
The joy of our heart comes from him,

GOSPEL

"To other towns also I must announce the Good News, for that is why I was sent"

Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 4, 38-44

    At that time
    Jesus left the synagogue in Capernaum
and entered Simon's house.
Now, Simon's mother-in-law
was oppressed by a high fever,
and Jesus was asked to do something for her.
    He bent over her,
threatened the fever, and the fever left her.
Instantly the woman got up
and was serving them.

    At sunset,
all who had sick with various infirmities
brought them to him.
And Jesus, laying his hands on each one of them,
healed them.
    And even demons came out of many of them shouting:
“You are the Son of God!
But Jesus threatened them and forbade them to speak because
they knew that the Christ was him.

    When it was day, Jesus went out
and went to a deserted place.
The crowds were looking for him;
they reached him,
and held him back to prevent him from leaving them.
    But he said to them:
“To the other cities also,
I must announce the Good News of the kingdom of God,
because that is why I was sent. And
    he proclaimed the Gospel
in the synagogues of the land of the Jews.

            – Let us acclaim the Word of God.

PREMIÈRE LECTURE

« Nous sommes des collaborateurs de Dieu, et vous êtes un champ que Dieu cultive, une maison que Dieu construit » (1 Co 3, 1-9)

Lecture de la première lettre de saint Paul apôtre aux Corinthiens

    Frères,
quand je me suis adressé à vous,
je n’ai pas pu vous parler comme à des spirituels,
mais comme à des êtres seulement charnels,
comme à des petits enfants dans le Christ.
    C’est du lait que je vous ai donné,
et non de la nourriture solide ;
vous n’auriez pas pu en manger,
et encore maintenant vous ne le pouvez pas,
    car vous êtes encore des êtres charnels.
Puisqu’il y a entre vous des jalousies et des rivalités,
n’êtes-vous pas toujours des êtres charnels,
et n’avez-vous pas une conduite tout humaine ?

    Quand l’un de vous dit :
« Moi, j’appartiens à Paul »,
et un autre :
« Moi, j’appartiens à Apollos »,
n’est-ce pas une façon d’agir tout humaine ?
    Mais qui donc est Apollos ? qui est Paul ?
Des serviteurs par qui vous êtes devenus croyants,
et qui ont agi selon les dons du Seigneur à chacun d’eux.
    Moi, j’ai planté, Apollos a arrosé ;
mais c’est Dieu qui donnait la croissance.
    Donc celui qui plante n’est pas important,
ni celui qui arrose ;
seul importe celui qui donne la croissance : Dieu.
    Celui qui plante et celui qui arrose
ne font qu’un,
mais chacun recevra son propre salaire
suivant la peine qu’il se sera donnée.
    Nous sommes des collaborateurs de Dieu,
et vous êtes un champ que Dieu cultive,
une maison que Dieu construit.

            – Parole du Seigneur.

PSAUME

(Ps 32 (33), 12-13, 14-15, 20-21)

R/ Heureux le peuple
que le Seigneur s’est choisi pour domaine. (cf. Ps 32, 12)

Heureux le peuple dont le Seigneur est le Dieu,
heureuse la nation qu’il s’est choisie pour domaine !
Du haut des cieux, le Seigneur regarde :
il voit la race des hommes.

Du lieu qu’il habite, il observe
tous les habitants de la terre,
lui qui forme le cœur de chacun,
qui pénètre toutes leurs actions.

Nous attendons notre vie du Seigneur :
il est pour nous un appui, un bouclier.
La joie de notre cœur vient de lui,
notre confiance est dans son nom très saint.

ÉVANGILE

« Aux autres villes aussi, il faut que j’annonce la Bonne Nouvelle, car c’est pour cela que j’ai été envoyé » (Lc 4, 38-44)

Alléluia. Alléluia.
Le Seigneur m’a envoyé
porter la Bonne Nouvelle aux pauvres,
annoncer aux captifs leur libération.
Alléluia. (Lc 4, 18cd)

Évangile de Jésus Christ selon saint Luc

    En ce temps-là,
    Jésus quitta la synagogue de Capharnaüm
et entra dans la maison de Simon.
Or, la belle-mère de Simon
était oppressée par une forte fièvre,
et on demanda à Jésus de faire quelque chose pour elle.
    Il se pencha sur elle,
menaça la fièvre, et la fièvre la quitta.
À l’instant même, la femme se leva
et elle les servait.

    Au coucher du soleil,
tous ceux qui avaient des malades atteints de diverses infirmités
les lui amenèrent.
Et Jésus, imposant les mains à chacun d’eux,
les guérissait.
    Et même des démons sortaient de beaucoup d’entre eux en criant :
« C’est toi le Fils de Dieu ! »
Mais Jésus les menaçait et leur interdisait de parler
parce qu’ils savaient, eux, que le Christ, c’était lui.

    Quand il fit jour, Jésus sortit
et s’en alla dans un endroit désert.
Les foules le cherchaient ;
elles arrivèrent jusqu’à lui,
et elles le retenaient pour l’empêcher de les quitter.
    Mais il leur dit :
« Aux autres villes aussi,
il faut que j’annonce la Bonne Nouvelle du règne de Dieu,
car c’est pour cela que j’ai été envoyé. »
    Et il proclamait l’Évangile
dans les synagogues du pays des Juifs.

            – Acclamons la Parole de Dieu.
