ஆண்டவரைக் காணிக்கையாக அர்ப்பணித்தல் விழா !

முதல் வாசகம்

நீங்கள் தேடுகின்ற தலைவர் திடீரெனத் தம் கோவிலுக்கு வருவார்.

இறைவாக்கினர் மலாக்கி நூலிலிருந்து வாசகம் 3: 1-4

கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது:

“இதோ! நான் என் தூதனை அனுப்புகிறேன். அவர் எனக்கு முன் வழியை ஆயத்தம் செய்வார்; அப்பொழுது, நீங்கள் தேடுகின்ற தலைவர் திடீரெனத் தம் கோவிலுக்கு வருவார். நீங்கள் ஆவலுடன் எதிர்பார்க்கும் உடன்படிக்கையின் தூதர் இதோ வருகிறார்” என்கிறார் படைகளின் ஆண்டவர்.

ஆனால் அவர் வரும் நாளைத் தாங்கக் கூடியவர் யார்? அவர் தோன்றும்போது நிற்க வல்லவர் யார்? அவர் புடமிடுகிறவரின் நெருப்பைப் போலும் சலவைத் தொழிலாளியின் சவர்க்காரத்தைப் போலும் இருப்பார். அவர் புடமிடுபவர் போலும் வெள்ளியைத் தூய்மைப்படுத்துபவர் போலும் அமர்ந்திருப்பார். லேவியின் புதல்வரைத் தூய்மையாக்கிப் பொன், வெள்ளியைப் போல் அவர்களைப் புடமிடுவார். அவர்களும் ஆண்டவருக்கு ஏற்புடைய காணிக்கை கொண்டு வருவார்கள். அப்பொழுது பண்டைக் காலத்தில் முன்னைய ஆண்டுகளில் இருந்தது போல் யூதாவின் காணிக்கையும் எருசலேமின் காணிக்கையும் ஆண்டவருக்கு உகந்தனவாய் இருக்கும்.

ஆண்டவரின் அருள்வாக்கு.

எல்லாவற்றிலும் தம் சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளைப் போல் ஆனார்.

எபிரேயருக்கு எழுதப்பட்ட திருமுகத்திலிருந்து வாசகம் 2: 14-18

சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளே,

ஊனும் இரத்தமும் கொண்ட பிள்ளைகளைப் போல் கிறிஸ்துவும் அதே இயல்பில் பங்கு கொண்டார். இவ்வாறு சாவின்மேல் ஆற்றல் கொண்டிருந்த அலகையைச் சாவின் வழியாகவே அழித்துவிட்டார். வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் சாவு பற்றிய அச்சத்தினால் அடிமைப்பட்டு இருந்தவர்களை விடுவித்தார். ஏனெனில் அவர் வானதூதருக்குத் துணை நிற்கவில்லை.

மாறாக, ஆபிரகாமின் வழிமரபினருக்கே துணை நின்றார் என்பது கண்கூடு. ஆதலின், கடவுள் பணியில் அவர் இரக்கமும், நம்பிக்கையும் உள்ள தலைமைக் குருவாயிருந்து, மக்களுடைய பாவங்களுக்குக் கழுவாயாகுமாறு எல்லாவற்றிலும் தம் சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளைப் போல் ஆகவேண்டியதாயிற்று. இவ்வாறு தாமே சோதனைக்கு உள்ளாகித் துன்பப்பட்டதனால் சோதிக்கப்படுவோருக்கு உதவி செய்ய அவர் வல்லவர்.

அல்லேலூயா, அல்லேலூயா! இம்மீட்பே பிற இனத்தாருக்கு வெளிப்பாடு அருளும் ஒளி; இதுவே உம் மக்களாகிய இஸ்ரயேலுக்குப் பெருமை. அல்லேலூயா.

நற்செய்தி வாசகம்

உமது மீட்பை என் கண்கள் கண்டுகொண்டன.

✠ லூக்கா எழுதிய தூய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 2: 22-40

மோசேயின் சட்டப்படி தூய்மைச் சடங்கை நிறைவேற்றவேண்டிய நாள் வந்தபோது, குழந்தையை ஆண்டவருக்கு அர்ப்பணிக்க அவர்கள் எருசலேமுக்குக் கொண்டு சென்றார்கள். ஏனெனில், “ஆண் தலைப்பேறு அனைத்தும் ஆண்டவருக்கு அர்ப்பணிக்கப்படும்” என்று அவருடைய திருச்சட்டத்தில் எழுதியுள்ளது. அச்சட்டத்தில் கூறியுள்ளவாறு இரு மாடப்புறாக்கள் அல்லது இரு புறாக்குஞ்சுகளை அவர்கள் பலியாகக் கொடுக்க வேண்டியிருந்தது.

அப்போது எருசலேமில் சிமியோன் என்னும் ஒருவர் இருந்தார். அவர் நேர்மையானவர்; இறைப்பற்றுக் கொண்டவர்; இஸ்ரயேலுக்கு வாக்களிக்கப்பட்ட ஆறுதலை எதிர்பார்த்திருந்தவர்; தூய ஆவியை அவர் பெற்றிருந்தார். “ஆண்டவருடைய மெசியாவைக் காணுமுன் அவர் சாகப்போவதில்லை” என்று தூய ஆவியால் உணர்த்தப்பட்டிருந்தார்.

அந்த ஆவியின் தூண்டுதலால் அவர் கோவிலுக்கு வந்திருந்தார். திருச்சட்ட வழக்கத்திற்கு ஏற்பச் செய்ய வேண்டியதைக் குழந்தை இயேசுவுக்குச் செய்து முடிக்கப் பெற்றோர் அதனை உள்ளே கொண்டுவந்த போது, சிமியோன் குழந்தையைக் கையில் ஏந்திக் கடவுளைப் போற்றி, “ஆண்டவரே, உமது சொற்படி உம் அடியான் என்னை இப்போது அமைதியுடன் போகச் செய்கிறீர். ஏனெனில் மக்கள் அனைவரும் காணுமாறு நீர் ஏற்பாடு செய்துள்ள உமது மீட்பை என் கண்கள் கண்டுகொண்டன. இம்மீட்பே பிற இனத்தாருக்கு வெளிப்பாடு அருளும் ஒளி; இதுவே உம் மக்களாகிய இஸ்ரயேலுக்குப் பெருமை” என்றார்.

குழந்தையைக் குறித்துக் கூறியவை பற்றி அதன் தாயும் தந்தையும் வியப்புற்றனர்.

சிமியோன் அவர்களுக்கு ஆசி கூறி, அதன் தாயாகிய மரியாவை நோக்கி, “இதோ, இக்குழந்தை இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களுள் பலரின் வீழ்ச்சிக்கும் எழுச்சிக்கும் காரணமாக இருக்கும்; எதிர்க்கப்படும் அடையாளமாகவும் இருக்கும். இவ்வாறு பலருடைய மறைவான எண்ணங்கள் வெளிப்படும். உமது உள்ளத்தையும் ஒரு வாள் ஊடுருவிப் பாயும்” என்றார்.

ஆசேர் குலத்தைச் சேர்ந்த பானுவேலின் மகளாகிய அன்னா என்னும் இறைவாக்கினர் ஒருவர் இருந்தார். அவர் வயது முதிர்ந்தவர். மணமாகி ஏழு ஆண்டுகள் கணவரோடு வாழ்ந்தபின் கைம்பெண் ஆனவர்; அவருக்கு வயது எண்பத்து நான்கு. அவர் கோவிலை விட்டு நீங்காமல் நோன்பிருந்து மன்றாடி அல்லும் பகலும் திருப்பணி செய்துவந்தார். அவரும் அந்நேரத்தில் அங்கு வந்து கடவுளைப் புகழ்ந்து எருசலேமின் மீட்புக்காகக் காத்திருந்த எல்லாரிடமும் அக்குழந்தையைப் பற்றிப் பேசினார்.

ஆண்டவருடைய திருச்சட்டப்படி எல்லாவற்றையும் செய்து முடித்த பின்பு அவர்கள் கலிலேயாவிலுள்ள தங்கள் ஊராகிய நாசரேத்துக்குத் திரும்பிச் சென்றார்கள்.

குழந்தையும் வளர்ந்து வலிமை பெற்று ஞானத்தால் நிறைந்து கடவுளுக்கு உகந்ததாய் இருந்தது.

Presentation of the Lord in the Temple —
Feast

FIRST READING

“Suddenly the Lord you seek will come to his Temple”

Reading from the Book of the Prophet Malachi 3:1-4

Thus says the Lord God:
Behold, I send my messenger
to prepare the way before me;
and suddenly
the Lord you seek will come into his Temple.
The messenger of the Covenant whom you desire,
here he comes – says the Lord of the universe.
Who can support the day of his coming?
Who can stay up when he shows up?
For it is like the fire of the smelter,
like the lye of the launderers.
He will settle down to melt and purify:
he will purify the sons of Levi,
he will refine them like gold and silver;
thus they may, in the sight of the Lord,
present the offering in all righteousness.
Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem
will be well received by the Lord,
as it was in the days of old,
in the years of old.

“He had to make himself like his brothers in everything” (Hebrews 2:14-18)

Reading the Letter to the Hebrews

Since the children of men have blood and flesh in common,
Jesus also shared a similar condition:
thus, by his death, he was able to reduce to impotence the
one who possessed the power of death,
it is that is to say, the devil,
    and he set free all those who, for fear of death,
spent their whole lives in a situation of slaves.
    Because those whom he supports are not the angels,
they are the descendants of Abraham.
    He therefore had to make himself in every way like his brethren,
to become a merciful and trustworthy high priest in
relations with God,
in order to take away the sins of the people.
    And because he suffered until the end the test of his Passion,
he is able to bring help to those who undergo a test.

“My eyes have seen your salvation”

Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 2, 22-40

When the time prescribed by the law of Moses
for the purification was fulfilled,
the parents of Jesus brought him to Jerusalem
to present him to the Lord,
according to what is written in the Law:
Every first-born of male sex
shall be consecrated to the Lord . .
They also came to offer
the sacrifice prescribed by the law of the Lord:
a couple of doves
or two little doves.

Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon.
He was a just and religious man,
who awaited the Consolation of Israel,
and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
He had received from the Holy Spirit the announcement
that he would not see death
until he had seen Christ, the Lord's Messiah.
Under the action of the Spirit, Simeon came to the Temple.
At the moment when the parents presented the child Jesus
to conform to the rite of the Law which concerned him,
Simeon received the child in his arms,
and he blessed God saying:
"Now, O sovereign Master,
you can leave your servant go away
in peace, according to your word.
For my eyes have seen salvation
which you prepared before the peoples: a
light which reveals itself to the nations
and gives glory to your people Israel. »

The child's father and mother
were surprised at what was said about him.
Symeon blesses them,
then he says to Mary his mother:
“Behold, this child
will cause the fall and the rise of many in Israel.
It will be a sign of contradiction
– and you, your soul will be crossed by a sword –:
thus will be unveiled
the thoughts that come from the hearts of many. »

There was also a female prophet,
Anna, daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher.
She was very advanced in age;
after seven years of marriage,
remaining a widow,
she had arrived at the age of 84.
She did not stray from the Temple,
serving God day and night in fasting and prayer.
Coming at this very hour,
she proclaimed the praises of God
and spoke of the child
to all who awaited deliverance from Jerusalem.

When they had completed
all that the law of the Lord required,
they returned to Galilee, to their city of Nazareth.

The child grew and grew stronger,
filled with wisdom,
and the grace of God was upon him.

– Let us acclaim the Word of God.

Présentation du Seigneur au Temple —
Fête

PREMIÈRE LECTURE

« Soudain viendra dans son Temple le Seigneur que vous cherchez »

Lecture du livre du prophète Malachie 3, 1-4

Ainsi parle le Seigneur Dieu :
Voici que j’envoie mon messager
pour qu’il prépare le chemin devant moi ;
et soudain viendra dans son Temple
le Seigneur que vous cherchez.
Le messager de l’Alliance que vous désirez,
le voici qui vient – dit le Seigneur de l’univers.
Qui pourra soutenir le jour de sa venue ?
Qui pourra rester debout lorsqu’il se montrera ?
Car il est pareil au feu du fondeur,
pareil à la lessive des blanchisseurs.
Il s’installera pour fondre et purifier :
il purifiera les fils de Lévi,
il les affinera comme l’or et l’argent ;
ainsi pourront-ils, aux yeux du Seigneur,
présenter l’offrande en toute justice.
Alors, l’offrande de Juda et de Jérusalem
sera bien accueillie du Seigneur,
comme il en fut aux jours anciens,
dans les années d’autrefois.

PREMIÈRE LECTURE

« Il lui fallait se rendre en tout semblable à ses frères »

Lecture de la lettre aux Hébreux 2, 14-18

Puisque les enfants des hommes ont en commun le sang et la chair,
Jésus a partagé, lui aussi, pareille condition :
ainsi, par sa mort, il a pu réduire à l’impuissance
celui qui possédait le pouvoir de la mort,
c’est-à-dire le diable,
    et il a rendu libres tous ceux qui, par crainte de la mort,
passaient toute leur vie dans une situation d’esclaves.
    Car ceux qu’il prend en charge, ce ne sont pas les anges,
c’est la descendance d’Abraham.
    Il lui fallait donc se rendre en tout semblable à ses frères,
pour devenir un grand prêtre miséricordieux et digne de foi
pour les relations avec Dieu,
afin d’enlever les péchés du peuple.
    Et parce qu’il a souffert jusqu’au bout l’épreuve de sa Passion,
il est capable de porter secours à ceux qui subissent une épreuve.

ÉVANGILE

« Mes yeux ont vu ton salut »

Évangile de Jésus Christ selon saint Luc 2, 22-40

Quand fut accompli le temps prescrit par la loi de Moïse
pour la purification,
les parents de Jésus l’amenèrent à Jérusalem
pour le présenter au Seigneur,
selon ce qui est écrit dans la Loi :
Tout premier-né de sexe masculin
sera consacré au Seigneur.
Ils venaient aussi offrir
le sacrifice prescrit par la loi du Seigneur :
un couple de tourterelles
ou deux petites colombes.

Or, il y avait à Jérusalem un homme appelé Syméon.
C’était un homme juste et religieux,
qui attendait la Consolation d’Israël,
et l’Esprit Saint était sur lui.
Il avait reçu de l’Esprit Saint l’annonce
qu’il ne verrait pas la mort
avant d’avoir vu le Christ, le Messie du Seigneur.
Sous l’action de l’Esprit, Syméon vint au Temple.
Au moment où les parents présentaient l’enfant Jésus
pour se conformer au rite de la Loi qui le concernait,
Syméon reçut l’enfant dans ses bras,
et il bénit Dieu en disant :
« Maintenant, ô Maître souverain,
tu peux laisser ton serviteur s’en aller
en paix, selon ta parole.
Car mes yeux ont vu le salut
que tu préparais à la face des peuples :
lumière qui se révèle aux nations
et donne gloire à ton peuple Israël. »

Le père et la mère de l’enfant
s’étonnaient de ce qui était dit de lui.
Syméon les bénit,
puis il dit à Marie sa mère :
« Voici que cet enfant
provoquera la chute et le relèvement de beaucoup en Israël.
Il sera un signe de contradiction
– et toi, ton âme sera traversée d’un glaive – :
ainsi seront dévoilées
les pensées qui viennent du cœur d’un grand nombre. »

Il y avait aussi une femme prophète,
Anne, fille de Phanuel, de la tribu d’Aser.
Elle était très avancée en âge ;
après sept ans de mariage,
demeurée veuve,
elle était arrivée à l’âge de 84 ans.
Elle ne s’éloignait pas du Temple,
servant Dieu jour et nuit dans le jeûne et la prière.
Survenant à cette heure même,
elle proclamait les louanges de Dieu
et parlait de l’enfant
à tous ceux qui attendaient la délivrance de Jérusalem.

Lorsqu’ils eurent achevé
tout ce que prescrivait la loi du Seigneur,
ils retournèrent en Galilée, dans leur ville de Nazareth.

L’enfant, lui, grandissait et se fortifiait,
rempli de sagesse,
et la grâce de Dieu était sur lui.

– Acclamons la Parole de Dieu.

C’était un homme juste et religieux,
qui attendait la Consolation d’Israël,
et l’Esprit Saint était sur lui.
Il avait reçu de l’Esprit Saint l’annonce
qu’il ne verrait pas la mort
avant d’avoir vu le Christ, le Messie du Seigneur.
Sous l’action de l’Esprit, Syméon vint au Temple.
Au moment où les parents présentaient l’enfant Jésus
pour se conformer au rite de la Loi qui le concernait,
Syméon reçut l’enfant dans ses bras,
et il bénit Dieu en disant :
« Maintenant, ô Maître souverain,
tu peux laisser ton serviteur s’en aller
en paix, selon ta parole.
Car mes yeux ont vu le salut
que tu préparais à la face des peuples :
lumière qui se révèle aux nations
et donne gloire à ton peuple Israël. »

– Acclamons la Parole de Dieu.
