சபையாய்க் கூடி ஓய்வு நாளைப் புனிதமாய்க் கடைப்பிடியுங்கள்.

லேவியர் நூலிலிருந்து வாசகம் 23: 1, 4-11, 15-16, 27, 34b-38

ஆண்டவர் மோசேயிடம் கூறியது:

நீங்கள் சபையாகக் கூடிக் குறிப்பிட்ட நாள்களில் புனிதமாய்க் கடைப்பிடிக்க வேண்டிய ஆண்டவரின் பண்டிகை நாள்களாவன: முதல் மாதம் பதினான்காம் நாள் மாலையில் ஆண்டவருக்கான பாஸ்கா. அந்த மாதம் பதினைந்தாம் நாள் ஆண்டவருக்கான புளிப்பற்ற அப்பப் பண்டிகை; ஏழு நாள் புளிப்பற்ற அப்பங்களை உண்பீர்கள். பண்டிகையின் முதல் நாள் சபை கூடும் புனித நாள். அன்று வேலை செய்யலாகாது. ஏழு நாளும் ஆண்டவருக்கு எரிபலி செலுத்த வேண்டும். ஏழாம் நாள் சபை கூடும் புனித நாள். அன்று வேலை செய்யலாகாது.

ஆண்டவர் மோசேயிடம் கூறியது: இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களிடம் நீ சொல்ல வேண்டியது: நான் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கும் நாட்டில் நீங்கள் வந்து அறுவடை செய்யும்போது அறுவடையின் முதல் விளைச்சலான ஒரு கதிர்க் கட்டினைக் குருவிடம் கொண்டுவர வேண்டும். உங்கள் சார்பாக ஏற்கத் தக்கதாக, குரு அந்தத் தானியக் கதிர்க்கட்டினை, ஓய்வு நாளுக்குப் பின்வரும் அடுத்த நாளில் ஆண்டவரின் திருமுன் ஆரத்திப் பலியாக்குவார்.

ஆரத்திப் பலியாகக் கதிர்க் கட்டினைக் கொண்டு வந்த ஓய்வு நாளின் மறு நாளிலிருந்து ஏழு வாரங்களைக் கணக்கிடவும். ஏழாம் ஓய்வு நாளுக்கு மறு நாளான ஐம்பதாம் நாளில் ஆண்டவருக்குப் புது உணவுப் படையலைச் செலுத்துங்கள்.

அந்த ஏழாம் மாதம் பத்தாம் நாள், பாவக் கழுவாய் நாள்; புனித சபை கூடும் நாள். அன்று நீங்கள் உங்களையே தாழ்த்திக் கொண்டு, ஆண்டவருக்கு எரிபலி செலுத்த வேண்டும்.

ஏழாம் மாதம் பதினைந்தாம் நாளன்று ஆண்டவரின் கூடாரப் பெருவிழா தொடங்குகின்றது. அது ஏழு நாள்கள் தொடரும். முதல் நாள் திருப்பேரவை கூடும் நாள்; அன்று எத்தகைய வேலையையும் செய்ய வேண்டாம். ஏழு நாள்களும் ஆண்டவருக்கு நெருப்புப் பலி செலுத்துங்கள். எட்டாம் நாளன்று திருப்பேரவை கூடும்; அன்றும் ஆண்டவருக்கு நெருப்புப் பலி செலுத்துங்கள். அது நிறைவு நாள். அன்று எத்தகைய வேலையையும் செய்யலாகாது.

ஓய்வு நாளில் ஆண்டவருக்குச் செலுத்தும் காணிக்கைகள், நேர்ச்சைகள், தன்னார்வப் பலிகள் தவிர, அந்தந்த நாள்களுக்கு ஏற்ப எரிபலி, உணவுப் படையல், இரத்தப் பலி, நீர்மப் படையல் முதலிய பலிகளைச் செலுத்தத் தக்கதாகவும் சபையாய்க் கூடி அந்த நாளைப் புனிதமாய்க் கடைப்பிடியுங்கள். இவையே நீங்கள் கொண்டாட வேண்டிய விழாக்கள்.

பல்லவி: நமது வலிமையாகிய கடவுளை மகிழ்ந்து பாடுங்கள்.

இவர் தச்சருடைய மகன் அல்லவா? எங்கிருந்து இந்த ஞானம் இவருக்கு வந்தது?

அக்காலத்தில்

இயேசு தமது சொந்த ஊருக்கு வந்து அங்குள்ள தொழுகைக்கூடத்தில் அவர்களுக்குக் கற்பித்தார். அதைக் கேட்டவர்கள் வியப்பில் ஆழ்ந்தார்கள். அவர்கள், “எங்கிருந்து இந்த ஞானம் இவருக்கு வந்தது? எப்படி இந்த வல்ல செயல்களைச் செய்கிறார்? இவர் தச்சருடைய மகன் அல்லவா? இவருடைய தாய் மரியா என்பவர்தானே? யாக்கோபு, யோசேப்பு, சீமோன், யூதா ஆகியோர் இவருடைய சகோதரர் அல்லவா? இவர் சகோதரிகள் எல்லாரும் நம்மோடு இருக்கிறார்கள் அல்லவா? பின் இவருக்கு இவையெல்லாம் எங்கிருந்து வந்தன?” என்றார்கள். இவ்வாறு அவரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள அவர்கள் தயங்கினார்கள்.

இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “தம் சொந்த ஊரிலும் வீட்டிலும் தவிர மற்றெங்கும் இறைவாக்கினர் மதிப்புப் பெறுவர்” என்றார். அவர்களுக்கு நம்பிக்கை இல்லாததால் அவர் அங்குப் பல வல்ல செயல்களைச் செய்யவில்லை.

இது கிறிஸ்து வழங்கும் நற்செய்தி.

“Behold the solemnities of the Lord, the holy assemblies” (Lv 23, 1.4-11.15-16.27.34b-37)

Reading from the Book of Levites

The Lord spoke to Moses and said,

    “These are the solemnities of the Lord, the holy assemblies

to which you will summon the children of Israel on the appointed dates.

    The first month, the fourteenth of the month, at sunset,

it will be Passover in honor of the Lord.

    The fifteenth day of this same month

will be the Feast of Unleavened Bread in honor of the Lord:

for seven days you will eat unleavened bread.

    On the first day, you will hold a holy assembly

and you will do no work, no work.

    For seven days you will present food offered for the Lord.

On the seventh day you will have a holy assembly

and you shall do no work, no work. »

    The Lord spoke to Moses and said,

    “Speak to the children of Israel. You shall say to them:

When you have come into the land which I am giving you,

and reap the harvest there,

you shall bring to the priest the first sheaf of your harvest.

    He will present it to the Lord by making the gesture of elevation

so that you may be accepted.

It is the day after the Sabbath

that the priest will make this presentation.

    From the day after the Sabbath,

the day on which you will have brought your sheaf with the gesture of elevation,

you will count seven whole weeks.

    On the day after the seventh Sabbath,

which will be fifty days,

you shall present a new offering to the Lord.

It is the tenth day of the seventh month

which will be the day of Atonement.

You will hold a holy assembly,

you will do penance,

and you will present food offered for the Lord.

    From the fifteenth day of this seventh month,

it will be for seven days

the Feast of Tabernacles in honor of the Lord.

    On the first day, that of the holy assembly,

you will do no work, no work.

    For seven days you will present

food offered for the Lord.

On the eighth day, you will hold a holy assembly,

you will present food offered for the Lord:

this will be the closing of the feast.

You will do no work, no work.

    Such are the solemnities of the Lord,

the holy assemblies to which you will summon the children of Israel,

in order to present food offered for the Lord,

a burnt offering and a grain offering,

a sacrifice and drink offerings,

according to the proper rite for each day. »

Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew

At that time

    Jesus went to his place of origin,

and he taught the people in their synagogue,

in such a way that they were amazed

and said,

"Whence do he have this wisdom

and these miracles? ?

    Isn't he the carpenter's son?

Isn't his mother called Marie,

and his brothers: Jacques, Joseph, Simon and Jude?

    And aren't her sisters all with us?

So where does all this come from? And

    they were deeply shocked about him.

Jesus said to them,

“A prophet is only despised in his country

and in his own house. »

    And he didn't do many miracles there,

because of their lack of faith.

Lecture du livre des Lévites

Le Seigneur parla à Moïse et dit :

    « Voici les solennités du Seigneur, les assemblées saintes

auxquelles vous convoquerez, aux dates fixées, les fils d’Israël.

    Le premier mois, le quatorze du mois, au coucher du soleil,

ce sera la Pâque en l’honneur du Seigneur.

    Le quinzième jour de ce même mois,

ce sera la fête des Pains sans levain en l’honneur du Seigneur :

pendant sept jours, vous mangerez des pains sans levain.

    Le premier jour, vous tiendrez une assemblée sainte

et vous ne ferez aucun travail, aucun ouvrage.

    Pendant sept jours, vous présenterez de la nourriture offerte pour le Seigneur.

Le septième jour, vous aurez une assemblée sainte

et vous ne ferez aucun travail, aucun ouvrage. »

    Le Seigneur parla à Moïse et dit :

    « Parle aux fils d’Israël. Tu leur diras :

Quand vous serez entrés dans le pays que je vous donne,

et que vous y ferez la moisson,

vous apporterez au prêtre la première gerbe de votre moisson.

    Il la présentera au Seigneur en faisant le geste d’élévation

pour que vous soyez agréés.

C’est le lendemain du sabbat

que le prêtre fera cette présentation.

    À partir du lendemain du sabbat,

jour où vous aurez apporté votre gerbe avec le geste d’élévation,

vous compterez sept semaines entières.

    Le lendemain du septième sabbat,

ce qui fera cinquante jours,

vous présenterez au Seigneur une nouvelle offrande.

C’est le dixième jour du septième mois

qui sera le jour du Grand Pardon.

Vous tiendrez une assemblée sainte,

vous ferez pénitence,

et vous présenterez de la nourriture offerte pour le Seigneur.

    À partir du quinzième jour de ce septième mois,

ce sera pendant sept jours

la fête des Tentes en l’honneur du Seigneur.

    Le premier jour, celui de l’assemblée sainte,

vous ne ferez aucun travail, aucun ouvrage.

    Pendant sept jours, vous présenterez

de la nourriture offerte pour le Seigneur.

Le huitième jour, vous tiendrez une assemblée sainte,

vous présenterez de la nourriture offerte pour le Seigneur :

ce sera la clôture de la fête.

Vous ne ferez aucun travail, aucun ouvrage.

    Telles sont les solennités du Seigneur,

les assemblées saintes auxquelles vous convoquerez les fils d’Israël,

afin de présenter de la nourriture offerte pour le Seigneur,

un holocauste et une offrande,

un sacrifice et des libations,

selon le rite propre à chaque jour. »

R/ Criez de joie pour Dieu notre force !  (Ps 80, 2a)

Jouez, musiques, frappez le tambourin,

la harpe et la cithare mélodieuse.

Sonnez du cor pour le mois nouveau,

quand revient le jour de notre fête.

C’est là, pour Israël, une règle,

une ordonnance du Dieu de Jacob ;

Il en fit, pour Joseph, une loi

quand il marcha contre la terre d’Égypte.

« Tu n’auras pas chez toi d’autres dieux,

tu ne serviras aucun dieu étranger.

C’est moi, le Seigneur ton Dieu,

qui t’ai fait monter de la terre d’Égypte ! »

La parole du Seigneur demeure pour toujours ;

c’est la bonne nouvelle qui vous a été annoncée.

« N’est-il pas le fils du charpentier ? Alors, d’où lui vient tout cela ? » (Mt 13, 54-58)

Évangile de Jésus Christ selon saint Matthieu

En ce temps-là,

    Jésus se rendit dans son lieu d’origine,

et il enseignait les gens dans leur synagogue,

de telle manière qu’ils étaient frappés d’étonnement

et disaient :

« D’où lui viennent cette sagesse

et ces miracles ?

    N’est-il pas le fils du charpentier ?

Sa mère ne s’appelle-t-elle pas Marie,

et ses frères : Jacques, Joseph, Simon et Jude ?

    Et ses sœurs ne sont-elles pas toutes chez nous ?

Alors, d’où lui vient tout cela ? »

    Et ils étaient profondément choqués à son sujet.

Jésus leur dit :

« Un prophète n’est méprisé que dans son pays

et dans sa propre maison. »

    Et il ne fit pas beaucoup de miracles à cet endroit-là,

à cause de leur manque de foi.
